For over 10 years, Campers have learned English-Style Horsemanship at "Robin Wall’s Rancho Rio Verde Riding Club" in Long Beach.

Campers enrolled in PBC’s Horsemanship Camp begin each day at the Marymount Campsite with our regular morning “Round Up”. 

The group will ride Monday through Thursday mornings. On Fridays, campers enjoy specialty theme days and special events.

After Round-Up, the horsemanship group will immediately travel by camp van to the stables.

Following their lesson they return to camp and participate in PBC Camp activities and swimming.

Riders are required to wear long pants and hard sole shoes or boots at the stables. Riding breeches, jeans, tights and leggings are acceptable.

Riding helmets will be provided, though campers may wish to use their own riding helmet.
